What do money, neopositivism, and bourgeois civil society have in common in the repression of the subject and self-knowledge?

Dominique Pagani returns to a passage from Hegel's First Philosophy of Spirit, where money is defined as "the possibility of all things of need." He recalls the three modalities (possible, real, necessary) and shows that money, as indeterminate possibility, allows self-knowledge to be deferred, an imperative of philosophy since the Delphic and Socratic "know thyself." He relates money to neopositivism, the dominant ideology that reduces scientific rigor to knowledge of external objects and enacts a denial of the subject, as shown by Oedipus tearing out his eyes. He then situates bourgeois civil society in the middle of the Hegelian triad family, civil society, State, and warns against the ambiguity of the middle and the "extreme center." He finally extends this repression of the subject to popular music and structuralism, and concludes on the importance of the ideological front, drawing on Marx's 1859 preface.
