Is it already too late to prevent the war waged by Atlanticist imperialism from becoming a world conflict?

Dominique Pagani starts from an interview given by an Italian general, a communist and former NATO officer. He begins by rejecting the word "West," an occulting concept, and replaces it with the concept of Atlanticist imperialism. With a participant, he then shows that Ukraine, Gaza, the Sahel, the China Sea and Venezuela are aspects of the same war, which the social frameworks of memory prevent us from seeing. He gives this situation historical depth: France's alignment with England since Waterloo, the rising death toll since Valmy, and Ulysses, the first "Western" hero, whose story begins and ends with carnage. The commented reading of the general's text establishes that the Ukraine war is a heteronomously directed war and that escalation is under way. The session ends with questions from the audience, on the identities that divide, the Sahel, and the search for allies rather than clones.
