Should one be against, with, or "against with": how can opposition be thought without falling into one-sidedness?

Dominique Pagani starts from the formula "against with" and declares himself against one-sided opposition ("einseitig"). He shows, from Nerval's Angélique, how the author resists his personal tropism toward the dead mother of Mortefontaine to turn toward Rousseau's grave, toward the collective stake: opposition runs inside each person, between the being of nature and the zoon politikon. He draws from this a dialectic immanent to beings and things (Socrates, Plato's Sophist, Spinoza: every determination is negation), which he opposes to the frozen positions of current ideology and to the extreme-center's happy medium. Hegelian sublation (Aufheben) suppresses while preserving. He applies it to the relation between the Greeks and the Orient, to the dialectic of evolution and revolution, then to ecology: we protect the landscape, which is not nature. He concludes that the same needs the other.
