Should we take up the notions of "red-brown" and "decolonial" produced by dominant ideology, and what is lost when the subject is eliminated in the human sciences?

This session is devoted entirely to answering questions and comments. Dominique Pagani starts from a comment recommending Domenico Losurdo: he praises his "dowser's genius," which brought to light the racism of Lothrop Stoddard, in whom the question of class shows through the question of race. Regarding Durkheim, he then distinguishes the critique of subjectivism from the elimination of subjectivity. He shows, with Aristotle, Hegel and the sentence "the wind shakes the trees," that unreflective language substantializes the world, and he criticizes the idea of a natural balance. He then clarifies the confused notion of "red-brown": the anti-Atlanticism common to Gaullists and communists does not make them allies of the far right. He ends on "decolonial": one does not use the adversary's words with impunity, words that substitute ontological entities (race, gender) for class. Against Achille Mbembe, he defends Adotevi and Hountondji, who criticized ethnophilosophy.
